Program Rules

Funded Training Account Rules

Program Integrity and Educational Purpose: the $50,000 Funded Training Account program is created strictly for educational and training purposes. It is not a proprietary trading firm, nor does Bear Bull Traders (the Company) hold any licenses to accept third-party funding, manage external capital, or trade on behalf of others. All payouts, evaluations, and account privileges are fully at the discretion of the Company. The Company reserves the right to modify, delay, or deny payouts, or suspend or terminate accounts, at any time, if it determines that a participant has deviated from the educational purpose of the program, including but not limited to excessive or unlimited account resets, exploiting technical issues or system errors, or ignoring the program's risk management and trading rules. By participating in this program, traders agree and acknowledge that all decisions regarding payouts, eligibility, and account status are final and made solely at the discretion of the Company.

To ensure a fair and realistic trading experience, the following rules apply to the Funded Training Account:

No Overnight Holds

All positions must be closed by 3:59 PM ET each trading day.

No Short-Selling on Hard-to-Borrow (HTB) Securities or Leveraged ETFs

Participants may not short Hard-to-Borrow (HTB) securities or leveraged ETFs and exchange-traded products, including products providing 2x, 3x, or similar leveraged long exposure. This restriction applies even if the platform technically permits the order or shares appear available to borrow.

Examples of prohibited trades include shorting leveraged bullish products such as TSLL, TQQQ, or MUU. Where an inverse or bearish product is available, participants may instead obtain bearish exposure by purchasing the inverse product long.

These examples are illustrative and not exhaustive. Participants are responsible for ensuring that any security they short complies with the Funded Training Account Rules.

Commissions and Fees

Our commission structure on the Funded Training Account is straightforward. The rate is $0.005 per share, plus a flat 35¢ fee per ticket. For example:

  • 10 shares: 10 × $0.005 = 5¢, plus the 35¢ ticket fee = 40¢ total
  • 100 shares: 50¢ share cost, plus the 35¢ ticket fee = 85¢ total
  • 2,000 shares: $10.00 share cost, plus the 35¢ ticket fee = $10.35 total

This structure provides clarity and consistency, and in practice it feels similar to the tiered professional commission model used in professional trading, even though it is not an exact match.

Fees are deducted from your equity balance upon execution. If your fees are not automatically deducted, we will adjust them at the time of payout or once the system upgrade is completed.

Minimum Trading Days

You must trade a minimum of 36 days during the 3-month simulation period.

Minimum Round-Trip Trades

You must average 2 round-trip trades per day over each rolling 10-day period. This rule means that you must complete at least 2 round-trip trades per day within each 10-day period throughout your three-month timeframe.

Single Trade Profit Limit

No single trade may account for more than 30% of your total profit at the end of the 90 days.

Drawdown Limit

If your Equity + Total Unrealized P&L of All Open Positions drops below $10,500, your positions will be liquidated, and trading will be restricted for the remainder of the day. You will not be eligible for a payout on this account if this occurs.

Repurchase and Resets

If your account reaches the maximum drawdown limit, you may request an equity reset to continue trading:

  • Starting Equity Restoration: an approved reset restores your account equity to $12,500 and restores payout eligibility (provided all program rules are followed).
  • Fixed Expiration Date: resetting the account equity does not extend or restart the account's original expiration timeframe.
  • 45-Day Eligibility Window: resets are subject to Company approval and will not be granted if the account age exceeds 45 days.

Trading Consistency

Your account must demonstrate consistency in trading. You should not dramatically change share size or risk between trades without rationale. The account is designed as an educational tool to help you build the discipline and skills required for successful trading, not as a gambling tool to encourage poor habits.

Company Rights

The Company reserves the right to limit the number of payouts per user and may modify rules to ensure the integrity of the program.

Restricted Market Conditions and Trading Events

To preserve the educational nature and integrity of the Funded Training Account, the Company reserves the right to restrict, review, adjust, or disqualify trading activity during periods of extreme market volatility or abnormal market conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, breaking news events, short squeezes, low-float momentum events, IPO launches, trading halts, or other extraordinary market circumstances deemed inconsistent with the intended learning objectives of the program.

The Funded Training Account is strictly a simulated educational environment with no hedging or proprietary trading activity involved. It is designed solely for trader development and evaluation, not for exploiting unusual market conditions or speculative market events. All determinations regarding restricted trading activity, payouts, and account eligibility remain solely at the discretion of the Company.

One Funded Training Account Per Participant

Each participant may maintain and operate only one active Funded Training Account at a time. Creating, purchasing, controlling, trading, or otherwise participating in multiple Funded Training Accounts simultaneously, whether through different email addresses, usernames, payment methods, identities, or accounts registered in another person's name, is strictly prohibited.

Participants may not share accounts, allow another person to trade an account on their behalf, or operate an account for another participant. The Company may review account activity, registration information, payment information, device or access information, and other relevant information reasonably necessary to identify duplicate accounts or account sharing.

If the Company determines that a participant has created, operated, controlled, or benefited from multiple Funded Training Accounts in violation of this rule, the Company reserves the right to disqualify the participant from any payout, cancel or terminate the affected accounts, and revoke eligibility to participate in the Program.

For clarity, purchasing a replacement or reset account in accordance with the Program's permitted reset and repurchase rules does not, by itself, constitute a violation of this provision, provided the participant is not operating multiple active Funded Training Accounts simultaneously.

This restriction is necessary to preserve the fairness, integrity, and educational purpose of the Funded Training Program. The Program is a simulated educational and training program and is not intended to operate as a proprietary trading firm, derivatives provider, brokerage service, or mechanism through which participants trade or manage accounts for other persons.

Key Features of the Funded Training Account

Capital and Buying Power

  • Starting equity: $12,500
  • Buying power: $50,000 (4:1 margin)
  • Max drawdown: $2,000 (cash)

Once this maximum loss is reached, the system will automatically liquidate your positions and restrict further trading for the remainder of the day. You may resume trading the following day but will not be eligible for a payout.

We are currently in the process of implementing this auto-liquidation system, which is expected to be active by November 2025. Before it goes live, we will retroactively review all accounts to make sure they do not violate this drawdown rule or any other payout conditions. Before we process any payouts, our team will review all accounts to make sure they do not violate this drawdown rule or any other payout conditions.

Trading Platform

The DAS Trader Pro Real Time Simulator is the only platform allowed for trading.

Trading Hours

Trading is only allowed during regular market hours (no pre-market or after-hours trading).

Any payout requested under the Funded Training Program must be made to and for the benefit of the same individual who registered for, participated in, and traded the Funded Training Account. The participant's legal name and other identifying information associated with the payout method must reasonably match the information associated with the participant's Funded Training Account. The Company may require reasonable documentation or information to verify a participant's identity, account ownership, payout information, or eligibility before processing a payout. Payouts to third parties, nominees, unrelated persons, or payment accounts that cannot reasonably be verified as belonging to the participant are not permitted unless expressly approved by the Company. If the Company is unable to reasonably verify the identity of the participant, confirm that the participant was the person operating the Funded Training Account, or verify that the payout information belongs to the participant, the Company reserves the right to withhold, deny, or cancel the payout and, where appropriate, suspend or terminate the participant's account. Providing inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, or conflicting identity or payout information, attempting to receive a payout on behalf of another person, or attempting to circumvent the Program's identity-verification requirements may result in payout disqualification and removal from the Program. These verification requirements are intended to protect the integrity and educational nature of the Funded Training Program and to prevent account sharing, third-party trading, identity misuse, or other activity inconsistent with a simulated educational program. The Funded Training Program is not a proprietary trading firm, derivatives provider, brokerage service, or arrangement for managing or trading third-party capital.

Yes, you must trade a minimum of 36 days during the 3-month simulation period.

Options trading is not allowed. Traders may only trade stocks or ETFs priced above $5.00 per share, including low-float stocks that meet this price threshold. Stocks priced below $5.00 per share are not permitted. Taking an entry or exit on a stock below $5.00 will disqualify the account.

No. We are not licensed to provide investment advice, and we are not a broker-dealer or a regulated financial institution. The Funded Training Account is an educational program only. It uses a simulated trading environment to help traders practice discipline, risk management, and strategy without any real financial exposure. Our purpose is education, skill building, and helping traders learn in a safe environment, not providing investment services or facilitating real trading.

No. The Funded Training Account is not a Contract for Difference (CFD) product.

A Contract for Difference (CFD) is a real financial contract between a trader and a counterparty, where the trader is exposed to real profits and real losses based on the movement of a live market price. In a CFD, a trader deposits actual money, takes on real financial risk, and the counterparty may profit when the trader loses. CFDs require regulatory oversight because they involve real capital, leverage, and market exposure.

Our program is completely different. The Funded Training Account is a simulated educational environment that uses virtual capital only. No real money is ever deposited in the Funded Training Account. No real positions are taken in the market. No real financial exposure exists. We do not act as a counterparty to your trades, and we do not benefit from trader losses.

The purpose of the program is learning, training, and skill development in a safe, risk-free environment. Any payouts or awards we provide come entirely from our company's operating revenue, not from participant trading losses, since no real funds are traded at any point.

No. All trading activities in the Funded Training Account take place in a virtual account using virtual capital. You do not deposit any real money for trading, and your simulated trades never interact with the real market. We also do not act as a counterparty to your trades. Your performance in the simulator does not impact any real trading decisions made by our company. If you have virtual losses in the account, nothing happens in the real world, because no real funds were ever used or transferred. The entire program is strictly an educational simulation.

The Company reserves the right to introduce or modify rules to ensure the integrity of the program. For questions, please email us at [email protected].
