Alcoholic beverages are not included.

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Egypt. You can obtain a visa on arrival at Cairo International Airport for approximately $25 USD, or apply for an e-visa online before your trip. Canadian citizens can obtain a visa on arrival. We recommend checking with the Egyptian consulate for the most current requirements based on your nationality.

This retreat is designed for a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 30 people. This intimate group size ensures personalized attention from our guide while maintaining the community experience that makes BBT retreats special.

March and early April are ideal times to visit Egypt. Temperatures typically range from 70-85°F (21-29°C) during the day, with cooler evenings. The weather is generally sunny and pleasant, perfect for outdoor activities and sightseeing. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light jacket for evenings.

No, international flights to and from Cairo are not included in the package price. You are responsible for booking your own flights to Cairo International Airport (CAI), arriving on March 27th, 2026, and departing on April 6th, 2026. The domestic flight from Cairo to Hurghada IS included in your package.

Our professional English-speaking guide will be with you throughout the journey, providing historical context, handling logistics, and ensuring your safety and comfort. The itinerary is designed to showcase Egypt's highlights while providing a comfortable and stress-free experience.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. Cancellation policies will be provided at the time of booking. Generally, cancellations made 90+ days before departure receive a full refund minus administrative fees. Cancellations made 60-89 days before receive 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 60 days before departure are non-refundable. Specific terms will be outlined in your booking confirmation.

Yes! Non-members are welcome to join this retreat. This is a wonderful opportunity to share an incredible experience with your loved ones while connecting with the BBT community. The couple pricing option is available for any two people sharing a room, regardless of membership status.

Essentials include: lightweight, breathable clothing (modest clothing recommended for temple visits), comfortable walking shoes, sandals, swimwear, sunscreen (high SPF), sunglasses, hat, camera, light jacket for evenings, any personal medications, and an adapter for Egyptian outlets (Type C/F, 220V). A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking confirmation.
