Chinese Stock Volatility Continues

Dear Traders,

The market is ripping higher as I am writing these words. Chinese stocks had an amazing run, and we traded them very successfully in the chatroom, including JD, BABA, and NIO. You can watch the recap that Brian and I posted here.

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell stated on Monday that, if necessary, they are prepared to raise interest rates by 50 basis points at their next meeting in May. His comments sparked a flurry of market moves. Traders and investors were left with the impression that the Fed’s policy may shift from a “jobs at any cost” policy stance to a “kill inflation at any cost” stance. Raising interest rates too aggressively may very well slow down inflation, but it will certainly also impact growth and employment as businesses might very likely slow down their hiring and/or let go employees as credit becomes tight.

Tonight is the first ever webinar that Megan will be leading. Megan is our new team member and a great friend and trader. Her TradeBook and strategy webinar, which starts at 8pm ET, is titled: TradeBook: How to Use Larger Time Frames to Catch Bigger Moves.

This webinar is for Elite members only, but if you would like to upgrade your account, please click here for a 50% discount on an Elite annual membership. To say thank you, we will credit you with the last monthly payment you made.

I hope to see everyone in the webinar tonight or, if not, in the chatroom tomorrow morning.

To your success!

Andrew
