From Everest to New York! You Are All Invited!
Hello Traders,
I hope you are all well and have had a safe, warm, and profitable trading week! I am back at the base camp with access to the internet and I thought I should write to you and give you an update about my journey! I am cold and exhausted and have only made it to Camp 3, but life is about the journey and not the destination. Am I right?
Here is a picture of me just below Mount Everest’s summit. It feels so close that you want to run up and touch it, but it is still a 2,000 m (6,560 ft) elevation away!
The rope fixing team of Mingma G has been up there, trying to fix the rope above Camp 4, but winds have been very difficult for everyone and they got pinned down in Camp 2. The wind is coming down and most likely they will fix the rope in the next few days. All teams will then push for the summit in the subsequent 10 days, before it gets too late.
The icefall is already a mess and it’s very scary coming down from it. It’s one collapse after another collapse! Please keep me in your prayers and send me your positive energy!
We are now CONFIRMED for our New York Summit! This two-day event is everything you have asked for from us. There will be breakout rooms with different mods in order that we may provide more mentoring style presentations, there will be a few keynote speakers such as Créde, who is coming from Ireland to give us a presentation, and there will be another special guest!
We have also included more time for socializing and networking so traders can find their trading group and buddies much easier! Mike has put a tremendous effort into putting this together. As you know, venues and hotels are not cheap in NYC. Make sure to sign up here.
Market is still trading in the same range as before I went to Nepal! By the time I make the summit, do you think SPY will break out of this tight range? Who knows!
For now, it seems like AI is the hot new word! Look at the chart below that shows the number of times managers have mentioned “AI” in their earnings calls. Say AI and make your stock go up 10%!
Thor and Brian traded the Open today and caught some nice moves on SPY on the downside. Make sure to watch the recap here.
