Having Proper Backups in Place for Hurrican Dorian

Hello traders,

I just wanted to let you know that I have returned from my trip and I am ready to trade tomorrow morning! I am super excited to be back and I cannot wait to see everybody in the chat.

I also wanted to wish those in the path of Hurricane Dorian the best of luck. We are keeping all those affected in our thoughts during this trying time. I also wanted to remind you to ensure you have the following in place if you plan on trading before or during the hurricane:

  1. Ensure you have a proper battery backup that’s powerful enough to ensure you have exited all of your positions when the power goes out.
  2. Backup internet from a mobile hotspot or secondary internet connection if your primary connection fails.
  3. Most importantly: your broker/trading platform’s mobile app to ensure you can exit your position if your power and internet go out.

We really do not advise that you even attempt to trade before or during a hurricane, but you decide to do so, please follow the advice given above.
