Dear Traders,

I hope everyone had a great trading week. I’m sorry I couldn’t send any updates; we kicked off our next bootcamp this week, and it’s going strong, with many of our traders pairing up with our senior traders and diving into their intense bootcamp sessions.

I have two important pieces of news to share with you.

Firstly, my friend Carlo Zarratini, Prof Andrea Barbon of University of St Gallen in Switzerland, and I just published a groundbreaking paper titled “Beat the Market: An Effective Intraday Momentum Strategy for S&P500 ETF (SPY).”

You can find it here. In this paper, we investigate momentum trading on the SPY ETF and have discovered some fascinating results. Spanning from 2007 to early 2024, the resulting intraday momentum portfolio achieved a total return of 1,985%, an annualized return of 19.6%, and a Sharpe Ratio of 1.33, all supported by extensive statistical tests. I hope you’ll take the time to read it and share your thoughts with me.

Secondly, all of our Trading Terminal advanced library courses are now 50% off! This includes popular courses by Aiman, Paras, and Lenny. For the list of courses and to check out the discount, please see below:

Reading the Tape – A Game Changing Edge in Trading by Paras

The Complete Guide to Multiple Time Frame Analysis & Reading Price Action by Aiman

How to win trading the Opening Range Break (ORB) strategy by Lenny

Please note that most courses come with smaller group mentorship sessions assigned by the course instructors. I highly recommend those of you looking to deepen your trading knowledge to check out these courses.

Lastly, I will be trading next week, but at the end of the week, I’ll be heading to Alaska to climb the highest point in North America, Denali, the last mountain of my seven summit challenge. This will be my most challenging climb yet, and I could use your well wishes and positive energy.

To your success,
Andrew
