One of today’s top news stories is that Jack Dorsey has stepped down as the CEO of Twitter. In addition, the market has bounced back and gapped up after the brutal selloff on Friday due to the identification of a new mutated COVID-19 variant. We – and the market – have been through this before with other variants and I’m sure we will also all experience this again. I read in The Economist that “zero-COVID” policies are failing pretty much everywhere in the world, and that we need to get used to living with one variant or the other of COVID-19 for the rest of our lives.
