Did You Buy the Dip?

Dear Traders,

I am writing today’s newsletter on the plane as I am heading to Africa for one of the longest trail runnings I have ever done! I promise that if I survive this 110km (68 mile) run, I will include pictures in my next email. Before leaving, I spent an exceptional morning trading with Peter, where I traded Apple for a 1-minute Opening Range Breakup. Make sure to check out the recap that Peter and I posted here.

The market bounced on the news of China’s monetary support for Evergrande’s restructuring. Preliminary data also shows that Omicron variant cases are mild, which has further acted as a catalyst for stocks. The question now is: Did you buy the dip?

It was an amazing week being able to host many of you at our Vancouver meetup. Over 120 members and traders attended. Thank you! We talked about the market, how far the community has come, and so much more. The company, the food, and the drinks were great. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to see each and every one of you in person. And yes, I was wearing a suit!

On Saturday, I, alongside our moderators, shared about trading, psychology, and the BBT community. We also partook of a fantastic whisky (courtesy of Peter!). If you have not watched this gem yet, make sure to do so here.

Speaking of BBT Mods, if you are interested in joining our community and trading with all of us, there is still time to take advantage of one of our biggest sales ever. We are pleased to offer a 40% discount on our annual Elite memberships. Please have a look at it here.

To your success,
Andrew

PS: Have you had the chance to try out our free replay tool? It is a web-based stock trading simulator that lets you replay the market, tick by tick, for free. You can check it out here. If you haven’t already, make sure to add your name to Simon and Aiman’s distribution list by submitting your email address in the appropriate place on our stock trading simulator site. They will then send you three weekly emails with homework and trading opportunities so you can practice at whatever time works best for you.
