Where is Andrew?

Dear Traders,

This is Brian writing on behalf of Andrew. As you probably know, he is currently attempting to set a world record as the first Iranian to climb the tallest mountains on each of the seven continents.

A few days ago Andrew’s team had to wait at the Basecamp due to lousy weather conditions. But as his team leader said, “they made the most of it by going over some technical skills in camp and eating some burgers in our luxurious Basecamp tent!”

Due to the bad weather, we didn’t hear anything from their team, and I was a bit concerned. But fortunately, there was an update yesterday that Andrew made it to Camp 1.

After taking a “weather day” at Basecamp, the team packed their equipment and started their long journey across the lower Kahiltna Glacier to Camp 1 (7800′, 2377m). The first challenge they faced was the long, sloping descent called Heartbreak Hill.

The reason for calling it Heartbreak Hill is that the climbers have to go back up everything they go down first! At the very end of the expedition, after long hours of climbing, Heartbreak Hill is the last obstacle before they claim victory. I am confident that Andrew will enjoy this challenge and will have many interesting stories to tell.

While Andrew is having the time of his life climbing the tallest mountains, I have been considering getting back into the cockpit as a commercial pilot. Andrew, I, and many of the traders in our community are truly fortunate to make money from trading. This allows us to explore other adventures.

For example, if I didn’t trade, I wouldn’t have the luxury of choosing what else to do with my time on my own terms. Trading is a skill that everyone should have. There are times in the market when the odds are highly in your favor, and you would be missing out if you don’t know how to take advantage of them.

On Friday, I traded the open with Lenny. He traded Tesla while I focused on Apple, with Nasdaq rallying, led by big tech. Nvidia’s earnings didn’t disappoint this week, showing continued revenue and earnings growth. Concerns about the strong economic environment are causing uncertainty about whether the Fed will start cutting rates this year, keeping the markets on edge. Goldman Sachs has moved its Fed cut forecast to September. Most sell-side banking forecasters and other Fed experts now see the first cut in September, with December being the next most likely date for a rate cut.

Remember, the US stock market is closed on Monday for Memorial Day, as well as our chatroom. The New Member onboarding live session will take place on Tuesday at 7 PM EST.

Memorial day is an opportunity to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in service to the United States. These individuals have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms and values that define the nation.

On behalf of the community I am honored to work with brave souls like Mike and John, our moderators at Bear Bull Traders. They are both amazing at being disciplined and teaching the community about it.

In honor of memorial day we have our biggest sale. Elite annual membership is at 60% off for $999. With your membership you have access to hundreds of hours of strategy videos and webinars.

You can also watch Andrew and all the BBT moderators’ trades in the chatroom, where they share their trades and alerts live. Knowing what the moderators are trading offers a great opportunity to jump on fast-moving stocks and make quick profits. For example, Andrew recently showed how he capitalized on a big opportunity after Jarad mentioned a moving stock, allowing him to act quickly and profit.

Happy Trading,

Brian Pezim
