Netflix’ Wild Ride
Dear Traders,
The earnings season continues the volatility for us, and as I am writing this newsletter, Netflix’ after-hours price is having a wild ride due to the release of their earnings. Once again, the stock market closed flat today, but it did offer a series of volatile moves on some of the familiar names such as NVDA and TSLA.
oday, I slept in for 30 minutes, but nonetheless, once I had fired up my trading station, I managed to book a very nice profit trading NVDA with a Double Bottom Strategy. It is so nice to sleep in, wake up, and book a few thousand dollars’ profit while still having your morning coffee. Please watch my recap with John where we show exactly how I traded NVDA near a 52-week high with both options and common shares. John traded a 5-minute ORB and Break of High of Day.

Last but not least, thanks for all the messages about my Everest climb. I am looking forward to having a farewell drink with many of you on Thursday at 4pm ET in either the chatroom or as we share a Google Meet link. Today, I received an email from one of our traders who finished his first 100km ultramarathon (approximately 62 miles).
It was lovely to hear that I have inspired him to take on new challenges. I really do believe that we can inspire each other to become better and help to push each other out of our comfort zones. We can become better next to each other. That is why I think our bootcamp is very important and helpful for new traders. You will be amazed with how much improvement you will see as you work closely with serious and committed traders. We may not be the best traders in the world, but we can be the best trading partners and buddies in order to motivate you to become better in life.
As I joked today, I hope everyone reaches the level of success that I am at now. It is amazing to sleep in, wake up, take a trade or two for “work”, and then get on with your life for the day. It definitely is possible. I am doing it live in front of you in the chatroom. I hope you can bring yourself to move one step forward in your trading. If you are able to do that, we will be there to support you.
To end with a fun fact: Do you know how many people have thus far climbed Everest? John Rafzila shared this with me. As of July 2022, there have been approximately 11,346 summit ascents by 6,098 people. I hope I will be #6,099. It would be nice!
